Workshop purpose:

Consider these three points:
  1. Our global climate has always shifted, but scientists now know that humans are driving rapid change too big and fast for our crowded, modern world to simply adjust.
  2. Fossil fuels powered incredible progress, yet today their unabated use risks unraveling the very prosperity they helped build, especially for future generations.
  3. What was once a thoughtful discussion about the science of a livable world has turned tense and divisive, even though the science, and the stakes, call for unity, not silence.
Not everyone has the time to do a deep dive into climate science, but most of us can invest an hour or so to get more comfortable with the basics so that we can better trust those who have committed their careers to scientific processes and discovery. The workshop is intended to provide resources and encourage more productive conversations on this topic. Attendees will receive a free copy of “The World’s Littlest Book on Climate – 10 Facts in 10 Minutes about CO2”.

If we all start working in the same direction, we can make progress on a cleaner, healthier, more sustainable, and more prosperous North Texas, United States, and World for the 21st century and beyond.
